#5 Global Classroom


TITLE: #5 GC
1. A globally citizen exhibits the characteristics listed below. Explain clearly as you can what each characteristic mean to you.
*      Has appreciation for people from other cultures
                   We have different cultures that inculcated to us by our ancestors and of course our beloved parents. Safe to say that, we have to respect the cultures that we have right now; we should be proud of the cultures that we are valuing in our life or simply appreciate one’s cultures.

*      Is sensitive to the needs of people different from themselves
                   For me it is our right to be sensitive enough in terms with the needs of mine and with others. We are unique individual, so I do believe that we have to consider the choose we are dealing with.

*      Has increasing knowledge about people around the world
                    It is our responsibility to know the people around us. Make it sure that you are the kind of highly individual, meaning you have to acquire knowledge in terms of dealing with other people in the world. You have to make yourself most out of it. Because I believe that, we have to learn things around us so that we can gain uniqueness to everyone.

*      Has critical cognitive skills and attitudes such as empathy, interconnectedness, perspective taking, cross-cultural understanding, action orientation, and prejudice reduction.
                  
                   If you do so the cited skills and attitudes, I think you have the kind of people who has critical cognitive skills and attitudes. You have to show sympathy with others as much as you can, you have to connects so that you are developing socialization, you have to stand your point of view so that you build up self confidence, as stated awhile ago you have to respect one’s cultures, let us watch our action, make it sure that this action should be in good one and especially you have to respect each individual.








2. As an educator, you can make a difference in teaching and learning locally and globally when you address the needs of the nation you serve and transit the proper attitudes and beliefs you think to be necessary to maintain the society of which you are a part through your learners in a global classroom. Discuss how you can make your classroom a global community.

Global perspective is integrated throughout the school curriculum not just in social studies
I made sure that my soon to be pupils will have the broad knowledge of all the subjects concerns. I will do my level best to reach all the subjects I am pertaining to.
International focus courses are developed in areas such as anthropology, regional history, geography, global or world studies, foreign language study, world religions, ethnic group studies, international business, music, and art.
These areas will help our pupils a more global competitive one. Because it rekindle the adoration of my soon to be pupils so that they will have a wide-ranging background out of it.
Internationalizing instructional methods and materials emphasize intercultural interaction and culturally appropriate methods of instruction and assessment. Partnership programs with other schools and countries can also be developed.
We should be sensitive enough to our methods we used. So that we emphasize the outcome we are wishing for. We should also consider the help of others for the betterment of our job. Let us consider each and everyone; if we do so, we have a good instruction and assessment.
Encouraging international travel as an important part of one’s education.
Our education that we have right now, we should always consider the things around us. So that we value the important of one’s education.
